Today is the day of Khunkyen Dolpopa’s Parinirvana. In celebration of this special day to the one who expounded the complete Dzoken Dharma, Khentrul Rinpoche willshare some stories about this great master. He will also begin a commentary on Dolpopa’s letter to the Emperor of China 元顺帝 Yuan shun fang Di. Khunkyen Dolpopa Sherab Gyaltsen, the Buddha from Dolpa, wrote a poetic letter to the Emperor of China, Drubtha Donsar – The Clarity of the Different Tenets (viewpoints). This letter is a short clear way to understand Dolpopa’s profound view of Shentong.
