Sponsor the Gold Mandala for the Enthronement of the New Kalki King in Shambhala and 1000 Year anniversary of Kalachakra Translated into Tibetan
2027 marks a historic and auspicious milestone: the 1,000-year anniversary of the Kalachakra entering Tibet from India, and the enthronement of a new Kalki King. Dzokden is preparing a year of global activity to honor these events, including a traveling art tour featuring original works created for the occasion.
At the heart of these offerings is an ambitious and meaningful project: a gold-colored, one-meter-wide, fully three-dimensional Kalachakra Mandala, complete with every deity and every element of the mandala’s sacred architecture. This mandala will serve as both an impressive part of the art installations and a lasting treasure for Kalachakra Tantra practitioners.

The Significance of the 3D Kalachakra Mandala
Depicted Version in Tibet. Image belongs to Rubin Musuem / Himalayan Art.
Created with Lineage Precision
This is not ordinary sacred art. The mandala is currently in fabrication, having been carefully designed and verified by high lamas of the Jonang tradition to ensure complete accuracy according to the Kalachakra teachings.
When complete, it will:
- Depict the full mandala of 636 enlightened deities
- Be filled with sacred relics, mantra scrolls, and blessed substances
- A Mandala Blessed at a Historic Moment
- Consecrated by Jonang monks from Dzamthang and surrounding Monastery
- Then brought to Vienna for further blessing during Khentrul Rinpoche’s Kalachakra Empowerment
At this gathering, Rinpoche will bestow the rare 25 Kalki Kings Empowerment on the Kalachakra New Year (Wheel Turning Day) — one of the most sacred days in this entire millennial cycle. This moment represents the turning of the Wheel of Time and the symbolic transition of the Kalki Kings — a pivotal point connected to the emergence of a new Golden Age.
A Global Offering
For Dzokden Shambhala to bring the Golden age
This is a significant undertaking. The full project is estimated at $100,000–$150,000 AUD, supporting:
- The fabrication of the Golden Kalachakra Mandala
- Sacred relic filling and consecration
- Creation of accompanying thangkas and statues
- Preservation, transport, and global exhibition
This is not a commercial project — it is a devotional offering at a pivotal moment in history.
Why We Are Commisioning this For Australia
Australia is a safe and isolated place in the world. Khentrul Rinpoche has selected specific land there to be a spot that we bring the Northern Realm of Shambhala closer to this earth to create karmic propensities for the Golden age. There is nothing like this in the Southern Hemisphere so it will bring strong Karmic resonance to a whole area of earth and especially a hold continent.
Why This Mandala Matters
Art speaks directly to the heart.
Sacred forms such as this do more than inspire — they transmit meaning beyond words, awakening inner recognition and planting the seeds for realization. The Mandala of Glorious Kalachakra embodies our true enlightened reality and the vision of an awakened society.
Bringing this mandala into the world — and to the Southern Hemisphere — is an offering intended to benefit beings for generations. Khentrul Rinpoche says we need to build a physical realm of Shambhala to make the causes for the Golden age

Precious Stupa of Dolpopa Sherab Gyatlsen
Dzokden is offering a very limited number of exceptionally rare, fully consecrated stupas as gratitude gifts for major sponsorship of the Enlightened Deity Mandala Palace of Kalachakra and related 2027 projects. Only 800 of these stupas were ever created. They are replicas of Dolpopa’s stupa, filled by monks at Dzamthang Monastery and consecrated on the anniversary of Dolpopa’s Parinirvana. Each stupa contains an extraordinary collection of sacred relics, including dhātu from the cremation of H.H. Jigme Dorje Rinpoche, the former abbot of Dzamthang. Due to the profound presence of these relics, the stupas are not for sale, but offered solely as gifts of appreciation. At present, approximately 13 remain and will be offered to qualifying sponsors whose generosity makes a significant impact on this historic mandala project. These sacred stupas are offered as gratitude gifts for sponsors contributing AUD $5,000 or more.
Powerful Karma From Your Generosity
Donating to support the Kalachakra Mandala is traditionally understood as an exceptionally powerful way to accumulate merit because it connects directly with the enlightened body, speech, and mind of the Buddha in symbolic form. The mandala represents the fully awakened state and the complete path to realization, so any act of generosity toward it becomes a cause for profound spiritual benefit.
From the perspective of the Dharma, merit arises not just from the act of giving, but from what is being supported and the motivation behind it. By helping to create, preserve, or share the Kalachakra Mandala, a person is supporting a path that leads beings to recognize their Buddha nature and ultimately attain liberation. This aligns one’s actions with the highest purpose—benefiting countless beings—making the karmic result especially vast.
It is also said that offerings to such a mandala create the causes for:
- Removing obstacles and negative karma
- Accumulating the conditions for wisdom and realization
- Creating a connection to the Kalachakra lineage and its blessings
- Supporting peace and harmony in the world, as these teachings are linked to the vision of a Golden Age
Because the Kalachakra Mandala embodies the entire universe in its purified form, offering to it is like making an offering to all enlightened beings and all realms at once. When done with a sincere intention—even a simple wish for the benefit of others—the merit becomes vast and enduring, planting seeds not only for personal awakening but for contributing to the collective wellbeing of the world.
