Rimé Practice Group

February 3, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Saturday, repeating until May 25, 2019

In this intermediate practice group we will be exploring the common preliminary practices of Tibetan Buddhism as taught in the Nyingma, Sakya, Kagyu, Jonang and Geluk traditions. Each 1 hour session will consist of 24 minutes of Shamatha meditation followed by a guided meditation that integrates visualisation, prayers and mantra recitation (where applicable).

While some knowledge of Buddhist Philosophy is helpful, it is not essential as each concept will be presented individually as we go. Therefore, if you have a sincere desire to practice, please feel free to join the class.

This class is offered as an online class through our Facebook Group here. If you would like to participate, please join the group and login at the time of the live stream. If you cannot make the live session, then feel free to watch the video at a later date.
