Creating the Conditions for Personal Transformation

Discover the potential of your personal capacity through familiarising yourself with the inner nature of your lived experience.

Having established a general direction for where you would like to go, the next step in our journey is to gather together all of the supplies that you will need to get to your destination. The road to enlightenment can be travelled in many different ways and without the right guidance, it is all too easy to get lost. Therefore, in this program you will first learn how to build a trustworthy network of support to facilitate your spiritual growth; while also establishing a powerful and expansive motivation that gives purpose and meaning to your activities. On this basis, you will be introduced to a range of skilfull methods for working with your mind in order to clear away misconceptions, gather its strength and reveal its ultimate nature.

This program aims to:

  • foster constructive attitudes for working with a spiritual teacher in the most beneficial way to ensure your continued spiritual development
  • provide an opportunity for you to connect with the lineage of the Jonang Tradition and instill the confidence needed to fully engage in the path presented by that lineage
  • foster altruistic motivations that focus on the needs of sentient beings and reduce any self-centred attitudes.
  • introduce the philosophical framework for how you can work with the subtle levels of your experience in order to profoundly shift your perception of reality
  • develop your familiarity with these subtle experiences through the practice of transformative contemplative techniques
