Discover the potential of your personal capacity through familiarising yourself with the inner nature of your lived experience.
Having established a general direction for where you would like to go, the next step in our journey is to gather together all of the supplies that you will need to get to your destination. The road to enlightenment can be travelled in many different ways and without the right guidance, it is all too easy to get lost. Therefore, in this program you will first learn how to build a trustworthy network of support to facilitate your spiritual growth; while also establishing a powerful and expansive motivation that gives purpose and meaning to your activities. On this basis, you will be introduced to a range of skilfull methods for working with your mind in order to clear away misconceptions, gather its strength and reveal its ultimate nature.
This program aims to:

- provide an opportunity for you to connect with the lineage of the Jonang Tradition and instill the confidence needed to fully engage in the path presented by that lineage
- foster altruistic motivations that focus on the needs of sentient beings and reduce any self-centred attitudes.
- introduce the philosophical framework for how you can work with the subtle levels of your experience in order to profoundly shift your perception of reality
- develop your familiarity with these subtle experiences through the practice of transformative contemplative techniques
In order to overcome your destructive habits, you will need to rely on a variety of supports that are capable of facilitating your spiritual development. In this course, you will learn about the different types of supports and how to get the most out of your relationship with them. This includes, learning how to develop a healthy and productive relationship with a spiritual teacher, understanding the importance of following an authentic lineage and establishing confidence in the Three Jewels of Buddhism.
The Kalachakra Path is rooted in the great compassion that recognises the interdependent nature of all sentient beings. You will then learn how to use that connection as the basis for generating a powerful motivation that is capable of fueling your progress along the path.
In this course you will explore the philosophical concepts which are used to describe the nature of ultimate reality and how you can use this view as a way of developing a direct experience of that truth. You will learn how to distinguish between the essential nature of relative truth and ultimate truth, as well the differences between how those two truths are understood in both sutra and tantra. You will then apply this understanding to the guru-disciple relationship which is an essential foundation for entering into the practice of Buddhist tantra.
In this three day retreat, you will be introduced to the different aspects of the Three Jewels and how you can develop confidence in them through the preliminary practice of Taking Refuge with Prostrations. The practice of Taking and Giving is specifically designed to cut through self-cherishing and cultivate great love and compassion. In this three-day retreat, you will learn how to use these meditations as a way to generate the altruistic desire to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings. You will also have the opportunity to formally receive the bodhisattva vows.
Our absolute nature is like a jewel, hidden within a mountain of rock and dirt. In this retreat, you will receive practical instructions for how to draw inspiration from your teacher while at the same time strengthening your connection to your own absolute nature.
