The class combines a number of different styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Hatha and Iyengar and focuses on correct alignment of the body in postures with props and modifications (blocks, blankets, straps etc.). This allows for a safe and beneficial experience for students, particularly those with medical limitations.
Please register your interest as class numbers are kept to a maximum of 12. Yoga mats and other equipment provided.
About the Teacher
Sarah Treadwell discovered yoga in her early twenties when she moved to Australia from the UK, and has been practising ever since.
Sarah has a passion for teaching, and has worked as VCE Biology teacher in Melbourne for over 10 years. She combines her love of Yoga and Biology in her classes, explaining anatomical and physiological of postures; this instruction gives students a deeper insight into the benefits of their practice.
Sarah provides a safe and encouraging environment, where students can learn and develop without judgment. Her classes are interwoven with yogic philosophy, so that students can gain a deeper understanding into the practice.
Sarah is self-confessed yoga-holic, and loves sharing her passion with others.
