One of the most sacred days in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar is Vesak day, an important day for Buddhists to commemorate the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death (parinirvana), particularly observed in the Tibetan tradition. We invite the local community to join us for a family morning to observe this very special tradition.
The open day offers opportunity to build great merit through the practice of generosity.
Ways to practice generosity on the day:
- Bring a plate of food to share with others
- Offer flowers, candles, incense or
- Make a donation.
